The Second Annual Earth Day: A Celebration of Stewardship presented by the Arbor Day Foundation and TD Bank is Sat., April 23.
The free community event will be hosted by the Groundwork Jacksonville Green Team Youth Corps from 10:00 a.m. – 1:00 p.m. along the S-Line Biodiversity Corridor of the Emerald Trail, at 2335 N. Davis St.
Guests will enjoy free lunch sponsored by Jinko Solar (U.S.) Industries Inc., a Kids’ Zone and bounce house sponsored by Jacksonville Transportation Authority (JTA), plus music, dozens of prizes and a variety of fun activities for young and old to enjoy.
The goal of the event is educate everyone about what they can do to make their homes and landscapes more eco-friendly, while providing an opportunity for people from all areas of town to connect outdoors on the Emerald Trail for Celebrate Trails Day!
