Groundwork Jacksonville hosted Celebrate Trails Day Saturday, April 26, 2025, at the Emerald Trail LaVilla Link Butterfly Garden. The free family event attracted people from as far south as St. Johns County and as far north as Woodbine, Ga!
Everyone enjoyed interactive demonstrations, music, hot dogs from Standard Feed & Seed, prizes, giveaways and more! There was chalk art, yoga, walking tours, tree talks with our Arborist, pollinator plant talks with Success Gardening, a conversation with artist Overstreet Ducasse about the Park Street Mural and a butterfly release that brought young and young at heart together.
This FREE family event was made possible by Baptist Health and the Community Forestry Program of the USDA Forest Service.
