GWJax Featured in New EDF Video About Jacksonville

This week the Environmental Defense Fund (EDF) released the third video of its “Keeping Florida, Florida” series across its digital platforms entitled “Jacksonville provides a path for equity and flood resilience.” The video shows how the City of Jacksonville and nonprofit partner Groundwork Jacksonville (GWJax) are implementing natural infrastructure solutions like the McCoys Creek restoration and the Emerald Trail to improve water quality, create habitat, and reduce risk from climate impacts such as sea level rise and flooding.

Kay Ehas, GWJax CEO, and John Sapora, LISC Jacksonville Disaster Recovery and Resiliency Manager were featured, along with North Riverside resident and GWJax volunteer Padrica Mendez.
