VyStar Emerald Trail 5K/10K & 1-Mile Fun Run/Walk

The 7th Annual VyStar Emerald Trail 5K/10K and 1-Mile Fun Run presented by JTC Running takes runners and walkers along the LaVilla Link and the S-Line Rail Trail Link of the Emerald Trail. Participants will enjoy tree-lined trails, historic parks, restored ponds and two beautiful public art installations. All proceeds from this event benefit Groundwork Jacksonville, the City’s nonprofit partner in building the Emerald Trail and restoring McCoys Creek and Hogans Creek.

Groundwork Jacksonville’s Annual Trailblazer Reception is a wonderful celebration of the visionary donors, funders, partners and leaders who are bringing the Emerald Trail to life. Celebrate Trails Day on the Emerald Trail

Groundwork Jacksonville invites the community to Celebrate Trails Day on Saturday, April 25, 2026, from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the LaVilla Link Butterfly Garden along the Emerald Trail. Celebrate Trails Day was created by the Rails-to-Trails Conservancy, to encourage people nationwide to get outside and explore local trails. The event culminates with a butterfly release.

Groundbreaking of Emerald Trail Hogan Street Link
