Who would have predicted that unsettling phrases like COVID-19, social distancing and self-quarantine would become part of our everyday conversations? It is certainly not business-as-usual for our team at Groundwork Jacksonville (GWJax), but we are working diligently to adapt to these unprecedented circumstances and to keep moving forward in accomplishing our mission of Changing Places – Changing Lives.
The team is working remotely from our homes and relying on technology to keep in touch more than ever before. We appreciate the flexibility of our teens and their parents, partners, donors, stewards and volunteers as we traverse this uncertain path and continue to develop creative ways to remain engaged with one another while staying safe and healthy.
